KIDS FAVORITES CD GETS PULLED

HAHAHA Finally some people take notice to these cds the first of them is KIDS BOP or whatever... anyway they're cds where children re-sing mainstream songs. Funny thing is they've also sang & re-recorded songs that have profanity... awkward... A mom actually heard a cd that their kid was given and is now being pulled from shelves at Walmarts across the country. hahah

Here's the article I read click here

DEC 2010 IT'S A WRAP

So it's New Years eve and I have a number of choices to choose for tonight shindigs yet I'll wing it and see what I'm up for later in the day. Alright I know I've been neglecting my blog due to the chaos I call my life has been in retrograde. Christmas passed, one of the years where I didn't want anything and it happend to be one of the best and one where ALL of us got so many gifts like when we were kids. To finally make some money but be able to splurge it on others is a great feeling. Besides all that we had ourselves a major feast all made from scratch from the brother & sister n' law. Great Holiday to have the family together.

Shall we continue to geek out? Of course, One of the dopest presents I've gotten in the history of gift giving, is this hand crafted ewok bag that King Tut got me.

With another storm busting through out neck of the hood, me and boys still manage to try to chill with our crazy work schedules. With $5 movies on Tuesdays still continues we headed to the theaters to hit up Tron together. Yet knowing that everyone in this town is cheap the lines were rediculous two didn't make it there while those that were just watched Black Swan. Good movie cheesy at some parts but what killed it was the mediocre wannabes and immature children that laughed and giggled or make stupid remarks during the movie while another left the theater because he obviously couldn't take a drama. Never again will be go on Tuesday nights hahah

FOOD TO GO

Lately well mostly the past two weeks have been a lot of dinning out for certain reasons. Not really being home often and less time to cook with a juggling act of things going on. From a bunch of Local and not so local spots from our recent trip to Southern California. With all this eating makes so many reviews for Yelp! hahaha
A chicken pot pie with pesto sauce from Fred 62 in Los Feliz.

Delicious baked goods from Porto's Bakery in Glendale.

Endless goods from Soup Plantation in Pasadena.

Then back to being local at Whirlows Tossed & Grilled

A Stupid good MAD COW burger from FLIP'S

Grub from George's

50% of all rolls at OZ SUSHI in Lodi.

& Lastly a viet quick lunch on the go, BBQ Pork Sandwich with what you know about pandan waffles!!!

CRACK!

TRON LEGACY

So I finally got to see Tron Legacy last weekend, I would have to say WOW... & I shall see it again. With all the hype and bad reviews it got, I'd have to said it was awesome in my opinion. The movie looked amazing and was just amazing. Good how they wrapped up stuff from the original Tron to not confuse those who've never even seen the first one. But awesome (spoiler alert) to say that Daft Punk does make their cameo in it. They did a great job with the soundtrack too, went really good with the movie. All the cool stuff that was in Tron was in this one, well, except the tank, but then again we said it might have been in the beginning or it was a car. When we got to the theaters we started realizing that some of the movie showing said TRON LEGACY or just simply TRON at the theater two different screenings stated both, I said so.... are we seeing the original TRON? Since it only said Tron while the other said Tron Legacy? hahah But it was the same thing. Those of you that have seen it lets discuss like the nerds that we are :D

GUT WRENCHING SCREAM

Everyone has heard this scream and time and time again. Just like the Guile Theme song, there are so many videos where this scream has been added to, this one is by far my favorite.

THANKSGIVING & NOVEMBER WRAP UP

Lots of food, freezing days, and seeing a bunch of people go crazy of Black Friday 'sales' that aren't really sales, if you know your stuff.
This is what you wake up to every morning, frozen shingles.

So much food.

Despite the rain storms, you can find something great like this between or after a storm.

An entire weekend of working and even on the holiday doesn't keep me from hanging with my family on the time that I do have free. Also chillin with friends, choppin' it up and grabbing some food even if it means getting some pizza and eating it in your car hahah.
One more month left of 2010...

JERSEY SHORE KIDS

These kids dressed up as the cast of Jersey Shore for Halloween, GOLD! hahaha

WEEKEND RECAP

Took a little trip back to Southern California, $60 round trip from my hometown to LBC, why not? The plane isn't as small as you think, walking on board made me think of Hawaii and the view into LBC was great.
Was able to spend time with loved ones and roam the LA area, with many fails good and sucky. From meters failing and Neckfaces show ended up being a pop up show, saying that the exhibit would be up for a few more weeks but only finding that it was being torn down the day we went to see it.
Bape store fails, closed because they were too much of a high end boutique (I guess LA can't live up to the hype of Bape).
I want this giant Kaiju.

Walking numerous blocks to eat one of the best burgers in the LA area.
A day of walking, checkin out shops, shopping, great company, and great food topped off with some Pee Wee's playhouse. He has a photo of a cholo on his wall.
Last fail was Boba, just wanted some before I got back to another flight and FAIL!
