WINTER QUARTER '09 SO FAR...

WE'RE ALMOST HALF WAY INTO THE QUARTER AND MY BRAIN IS CONSTANTLY HURTING

Anyway this is my Meat science lab, not necessarily just butchering but also we learn about processes meat has to go through to get onto the market, the cuts of meats, and microbiology/chemistry stuff that deal with meat.

Here are pics from the other day we made the cuts of pork from half a pig. the meat is usually sold to a buyer or is sold at the farm store.

THE WACKNESS

Possibly one of the better movies I've seen in a good while. This movie came out in select theaters last summer but I never went to see it since Tracy went to see it without me lol. Anyway she told me about it almost a year ago since she seen it at the Sundance Film Festival, where she actually is right now.
High recommend seeing this film, the soundtrack is way dope.

ESTELLE AT CSULA & THE VILLA

Despite the fact that I'm taking 7 classes I wanted to take advantage of the weekend before classes got crazy.

On Friday Jan. 9 Estelle performed at Cal State LA for free.


Then the next day we were on our way to Malibu, to hit up the Getty Villa.








All in 3inch heels ahaha

We took a stop in LA and had a crazy lunch at MANNA, all you can eat korean BBQ.

Then off to La Canada, to the Descanso Garden, which I said was more of a forest than a garden, taking a hike around for a few hours in flat heels :) and there was a mansion there

Roommates and myself were chillin in the living room while one felt a shake then so did the rest of us, she thought it was an earthquake and we said naaah but it actually was heres the news report on it.

WINTER QUARTER '09

Today was the Start of a new quarter and a new year. I'll be deep in 7 classes that compose of 20units and 8am classes each day HURRAY for wanting to graduate.

CHRISTMAS TRIP TO THE 209 & NEW YEARS EVE

I know I lagged on a new post but I've been without the internet for about two weeks so here's what went down.
Me & Vien took a drive back to the 209 for the Chirstmas holiday, we stopped for gas near Bakersfield found a cheap stop

at this gas station there was about to be a brawl between these old asian couples and a white dude and there were these filipino dudes bein all americans next best dance crew n shit in the gas area, this stop was pretty hilarious.

It was a good stay at home seeing people I haven't seen in forever.

then on the way back it was a never ending journey, traffic for no reasons and car accidents


Also gas prices went up like crazy after the holiday


Then finally on New years eve we took the metrolink around to chinatown and downtown LA, my first time on the metro kinda reminded me of the bart then it started getting crazy cold



Spent new years eve at my bros place eating good food and drinking some chirsssss



Then the other day we ate sushi at sushi mac in LA, $2.75 per plate doesn't matter what kind of sushi you get which is great, me and bee has 16 plates :)


After that we went to see the spirit which wasn't bad.

Finally this quarter is over.. sorry to many of those I've been M.I.A to, but sacrificing goin out and what not to study and do all my school stuff has paid off. My grades are satisfying :)
