ON THE ROAD AGAIN THE GRAPE VINE

Ok...so.. I'm going through this little phase again where I wake up at random times (just in case some of you are wondering why I'm even blogging at this time of day). Anyway I drove again to Southern California and it was ok but there were millions of Oregon Ducks fans on the road at well headed to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl.


The drive was fine but the best part of the drive was going into the Grape Vine. It was lightly sprinkling but basically I drove into the clouds it looked like fog

and once the top of the mountain was reached look what cleared up!

But look was up ahead... more driving into more clouds


at least there wasn't any traffic well not until I finally reached Valencia. Anyway I thought that was cool and crazy.

A REGULAR STOCKTON DAY

I totally forgot how foggy it gets and HOW LONG it stays foggy in Stockton. This was taken at I believe almost 11am

NIGHT OUT WITH THE BOYS

Mr. Mike was in town so we def had to meet up the night ended up with laughs, stories, drinks, and randomness.

CHRISTMAS

The holidays have been different this year since this was the first time my brother wasn't able to spend it with us. But of course that still means we had a feast at our house but it's a realization that we're all growing up and there are new additions and changes to our lives. We were out here, while erik & their family there had their christmas which looked great with the kitties!

ADVENTURE DAY

The day before I was "suppose" to leave was on Saturday but we did so much that I ended up tired, us coming home at 2am ... Yeah me driving back to Stockton was not going to happen so I postponed my leaving once again.

We started the day off with some breakfast in Santa Monica as some Omelet parlor. The omelets were freakin huge and very delicious.

& also stopped to take a pic of the mural I keep seeing


We roamed around check out some shops and andrea told me about all this cool spiritual stuff. Then we were off to hike around Malibu. It was long but so fun, it was awesome because it was so warm out.



The trail ended at this little water fall dude.

We got back into LA and wanted to see Avatar but the next showing wasn't for a few hours so we rounded up more people and decided to hit up an art show a few blocks down from the movie theater in Culver City.











My favorite




The Avatar was freakin amazing I'm most likely going to see it again! but that was a wrap on adventure day and us getting home so late and leading to a lazy football filled Sunday.

EAST COAST BLIZZARD SEEN FROM SPACE

The east coast is getting hit hard with that blizzard while Southern California enjoyed the warm weather. Check it out it's pretty awesome, but sucks if you live out there
