Ok, to start off I'm not like a big PETA person or anything but what's going on in the Cove is too much. Every year in a coastal town called Taiiji, there is a mass slaughter of dolphins from October-April. I've heard about it slightly from school but there is never in depth information. The slaughter is so massive that the waters of the cove turn bright red, you can see some photos if just google Taiiji, Japan and look at the images. There is an activist group that investigated what was going on at this Cove and here is their documentary which premiered at the Sundance Film festival.
