GRAFFITI x CHERNOBYL DISASTER

Yesterday marked the 25 years since the disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power plant. The near by city of Pripyat has become a ghost town since then if you ever see footage or photos of the place it all seems pretty eerie. Things are in a ruble just being left behind, toys of children lay where kids use to play, there was even a photo of a school yard where little gas mask were scattered around the place.

The lands throughout the ghost town are being taken over by vegetation. Even though it is a ghost town some people do make the visit to see the aftermath of the disaster at Chernobyl and some of these visitors have been leaving their mark with their graffiti. Photos via Alex Cheban
